"转贴(外国）佳作"的原因：
乐人先生说得对-----”创作或拍摄与欣赏而言，不过是一件事物的两个方面：创作是为了提供作品给人欣赏，不懂如何欣赏，怎样创作？所以，几乎任何创作，都是从学习欣赏开始。“（摘自：《写实性摄影表现技巧(中) 》）。
虽然同贴摄友的佳作，是最容易学习借鉴的，但是，也许它所长的，也是你所知道的，而你所缺少的，在他的作品中却难以见到.毕竟大家的生活环境、创作氛围相近，获取知识的途径都比较接近，同侪相似的地方太多!，而转贴国外优秀作品更能让我们开拓视野，欣赏、借鉴学习别人的长处，"它山之石,可以攻玉"这是学习摄影不可或缺的一个重要方面，也是治疗圈地扎堆YY；相互吹捧等痼疾的良药!.看佳作找差距，更有利于大家摄技的共同提高，可谓有百利而无一害，我将不定期地继续转贴下去。谢谢各位的欣赏与支持。

街拍也好人文也罢，始终摆脱不了经典肖像或者是环境肖像的影子。这是我看了大量的鬼子片悟出来的，负责任地说----没有光影肖像拍摄功底的普通街拍或人文爱好者（天才除外），能拍出好片的可能性小到微乎其微！，空有抓拍热情的一厢情愿简直就是徒劳！，这不是危言耸听哦，不信咱走着瞧！。
经典肖像摆拍应相当于肖像绘画，即用光影来作人物画。而画与拍的差异主要体现在创作手段，以及“加法”与“减法”运用等方面，同为2维平面视觉效果，可谓异曲同工。
老布的人生经历就是个典型的例子。众所周知----老布始于绘画又终于绘画，这说明了什么？大伙好好琢磨琢磨哈吧，只不过老布在肖像绘画上下的功夫我们大家都没看见，看到的仅仅只是他创建“决定性瞬间”理论的辉煌硕果而已，因此，没有好的静态人物肖像功底就不会诞生优秀的动态人物抓拍瞬间定格，所以，“抓而优则仕”们一味地排斥经典肖像摆拍训练是错误的哈！。
具体的人没拍好，谈何人文？----迟早要补肖像这一课！当前的重点是学习主动用光塑造人物，外加具有一定人文符号背景的黑白光影环境肖像。
人像不仅仅是美女等时尚照的代名词，随着大家拍摄水平的日渐提高，拍摄的内容也将会朝着以反映社会贤达，公众人士等人物的性格；精神心理的深度发展，希大家平时多些琢磨布光技法，理论联系实际，努力补好灯光人像这一课。

Started rather late with photography. First with slides but soon turned to black and white photography which remains my passion till today. After working almost 20 years in the darkroom i finally made the decision in 2010 to turn to the digital process and i have to admit i don't regret.

My name is Bill Gekas and I was born and live in Melbourne, Australia. A self taught photographer that learnt the technicals of photography using a 35mm film slr camera from the mid 90's and switched to digital in 2005, practicing the art of photography and constantly refining my style.
Digital is one of the best advances in photography. It allows the post processing of photos in ways which the greatest photographers could have only dreamed about in their day.

Leonardo Zevallos was born in Lima, Peru in 1977. Photographer and Graphic Designer, Leonardo traveled to Colombia in the year 1998 and discovered his passion for Photography when started studies at the Institute of Fine Arts in the city of Medellin.
He never graduated from the Insitute, instead, he started working as a Web Designer in some of the most important technology companies in town. Currently, he works as Creative Director with Paradigma Solutions, a Software Development Company in Medellin.
Leonardo pushes his talent to the limit. His photography work is about telling stories. His fine portraits are a proof of that.

About me
I'm an amateur photographer living most of the time in Rome Italy.
I was born in Naples 50 years ago and the fact that I've spent my childhood and young age in Naples, a very tough place to live, has made me develop a great interest for real life and street photography which somhow forces me to be always attentive with what happens around me.
I also like taking nice landscape and cityscape images as well as natural scenes of wildlife whenever I have the opportunity.
I begun to seriously photograph as soon as I had enough money to buy me my first SLR back in 1981. It was a fully manual Yashica Fx3 with a 50mm lens. Since then there have been very few period of times I have not dedicated to photography.
I switched fully to digital about 3 years ago but I still miss the great film days..Photo equipment：Canon EOS 60d , various Canon and other brand lenses Panasonic Lumix GF1 and Olympus XZ-1

Honouring the Madonna
This is just before a celebration which is followed by a procession in the streets of this small village.
It takes place every year in August..
