对于一张没有嵌入色域文件（Embeded Color Profile）的图片，

IE8、Firefox3这两种浏览器似乎都自动默认为显示器的Profile；

而系统自带的Photo Viewer，Adobe的PS、Bridge、Lightroom等软件都默认为是sRGB；

于是就造成了在浏览器和在专业软件中这些图片看起来大大不同。

怎么能让操作系统自动为这些没有Embeded Color Profile的图片和没有色彩管理功能的软件自动指定sRGB呢？

firefox 3已经支持色彩管理了

这也就说明，在JPG图片中嵌入Color Profile是个好习惯，尽管这样每幅图片要增大5k左右的尺寸。

已经被证实。广色域显示器用不带色彩管理的软件，比如IE8，纯属一塌糊涂。下面黑体划线那句就是问题所在。

Unfortunately Internet Explorer is not a color managed application. Even though its output is interpreted for view by the monitor profile, the fact is that Internet Explorer ignores color profiles embedded in images. In other words, Internet Explorer is not a color-managed application. It simply [U]passes the pixels to the monitor profile as-is[/U]. The net result is off-color or super-saturated images that, in some cases, pose little resemblence to the original. This is true even if the images are sRGB (the internet standard color space), tagged or not tagged. What a fine mess we're in.

我知道firefox 3以上版本about:config里有个gfx.color_management.display_profile，似乎可以用这个键来为FF指定一个默认的色彩空间。但是其他浏览器依旧麻烦。

最好有在操作系统水平上一揽子解决默认的一个方案。坦白说Windows系统本身的色彩管理一直扑朔迷离啊。
