暗處發綠，不是紅心綠邊。假若拍顏色均勻的白紙，看不出明顯的紅心綠邊。

我发现Flickr有一些样张放到100%后有手抖动的痕迹，虽然缩小了看不出来，甚至效果还不错，但我一律把这类照片列为废片。这也说明dp2m要特别小心，一定要端稳，否则很容易变成废片。This photo was taken on January 12, 2012 using a Sigma DP2 Merrill.

I picked up my Sigma DP2 Merrill yesterday. I upgraded from a Sigma DP2s. Feel free to check out some of my photos, although, I have to say, it was too hot to be outside shooting today, so there's a bit of shake in my photos just from exhaustion. (Also of note: I haven't taken photos in about a year - so I'm out of practice!)

My DP2s photos, being in black and white, certainly had some post-processing done. The color photos I currently have up (DP2 Merrill) were all JPG straight from the camera.

On to the DP2 Merrill:

1. The battery life is a joke. I got just under 100 shots on one charge. I imagine if you are spending a day shooting, you'll want up to 6 batteries on you, if not more. I know the 50mb+ files are taxing on the processor and battery, but wow, certainly a depressing battery life. SIGMA needs to figure this out.

2. The write time is SLOW. It's about 10 to 12 seconds before you can review the photo (zooming in to make sure it looks decent) because it's writing to the card. My card might be slow (I'm using a Class 10 Sandisk). This is annoying, but then again, I've selected Raw+JPG at highest quality - why would I want anything else?

3. The focus is much quicker and quieter than on the DP2s! Wow! It still struggles now and then, but nowhere near as pathetic as the DP2s.

4. The screen is lightyears ahead of the DP2s. Images look crisp and beautiful. Zoom is finally usable.

5. I found myself able to photograph subjects indoors and get crisp results at 2.8 (@ 1/25th) - my DP2s struggled in this area, or anything below 1/60th or so.

6. As of now, I don't have that weird vignetting/greenish cast that plagued my DP2s (and I could never get SIGMA to admit this was a defect, despite so many customers complaining about this!)

7. The camera is bigger than the DP2s. I don't mind this at all. I wouldn't have even minded a bigger camera for a larger capacity battery.

8. I am in awe at the quality of the DP2 Merrill. I know it's not a camera for everyone, nor is it a camera for every situation...but I am excited for what the future will hold for me and my Merrill. I thought the DP2s was the most amazing camera when I got it, and this just blows it out of the water!

9. Be prepared to see every flaw in every face.

10. Really quiet camera operation. I love this. No more whirring motor or loud button clicks.

11. I have a MacBook Pro with 8gb of ram. My laptop struggles on the editing of these massive RAW files. I never had an issue like this before. Opening the file in Sigma Photo Pro, in order to view the file at 100%, I have to wait close to 25 seconds. Saving them is another half a minute or so. Laptop overheats and everything begins to run really slow.

12. Camera got hot after a while. Not scalding, but enough to make hands sweaty.

13. Since the lens does not extend out (the way it did on the DP2s), it's very easy to fit a 49mm UV filter on without the need for the hood adapter. The lens is now always protected, which is a good thing.

14. The lens cap is SO much better than on the DP2s. It has one of those squeeze mechanisms in the middle, versus the other one which was more of a clip-on cap. Plus, from what I can see, you can use the lens cap and the hood at the same time since it does not interfere.

15. The screw mount on the bottom is located further from the battery cover so I'm finally able to leave a mount on there without having to take it off every time I need to change the battery (which would equate to once an hour, ha!)

16. The camera is beautifully made. Feels nicer in hand than the DP2s.

In my opinion, the end result for me revolves around image quality. For the time being, I'm willing to take these inconveniences since this hobby for me is about the art I create via the capture of the world around me. The SIGMA delivers in this area for me in ways other cameras cannot (other cameras many times it's price, that is). This camera is not for everyone either, and anyone researching should know its limitations. It's not the best all-around camera, but it's nothing short of phenomenal at what it does do well.

Any questions, please feel free to ask. I know there's limited information out there on this camera. I took the plunge yesterday and bought it based on the few images from their website and the flickr photo pools from Japan. I need to find a place to order accessories online since so few stores here have any stock as of now.

除非拿DP2m DP2x在同场景同参数拍
再SPP同参数出片
否则不能说宽容度就一定下降了
