now seperate lens and body

peel off the leather around lens, you can see 4 screws. they are holding lens to body, remove them.

now you reach the blades. the front one is aparture blades. shutter blades is behind it.

use cotton stick and Zippo fluid to clean the shuter blades. this would fix the shutter stick problem effectively.

unscrew 3 screws,(already removed in last picture, see the 3 holes), you can remove this ring, which adjusts shutter speed.

attention paid to the red circle area, there is a small ball under that, for speed ring step postioning. do not lose it.

a few words about the 35RD camera in the pictures:

I bought this 35RD from ebay, at about USD80 including international shipping. unfortunately its slow speed as 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, the shutter will stay open after release button pressed. It can be reset in half way of next winding. this problem will not happen to higher speed or B.
I thought it to be a "shutter stick" problem, which I experinced a few cases on other similiar cameras. that need remove front lens elements and clean shutter blades.
but this time it did not solve the problem. in "The Classic Camera Repair Forum" Winfried suggested that it is escape gear problem and told me I need to disassemble the whole lens assambly from camera body. I followed his suggestion and successfully restored the 35RD.
but this 35RD still have some other impefect: scratches on its rear elements, not smooth speed ring. so I sold it at about USD60 after getting another 35RD in excellent condition.
