550D破解固件关于焦距微调的方法  

调整时，请大家参照下图
FOCUS dir (NEAR)时，按相机上的（-）号键是调焦点前跑，显示屏显示（FOCUS A - 8）当FOCUS dir (FAR)时，按相机上的（-）号键是调焦点后跑 ，显示屏显示（FOCUS A + 8）按SET键，清零，显示屏上显示（FOCUS A + 0 ）；
RACK SPEED 4 代表步进是4 把光标移动到RACK SPEED 按Set键一次数字就增加1，这里的步进可从1开始至33
步进数的调整是为调整FOCUS A 而设置的 假设此时我把RACK SPEED 为1，那么当我把光标移动到FOCUS A时，按一次相机上的（-）号键 （FOCUS A + 0）就会显示 （FOCUS A + 1）或（FOCUS A - 1）按第二次相机上的（-）号键 （FOCUS A + 0）就会显示 （FOCUS A +2）或（FOCUS A - 2）如果按相机上的（+）号键 是不起作用的，设置好后对着物品拍一张试试，不准就继续调，直到焦点准确为止，记住这个数值，当你下次用该镜头时就直接设置，千万记住设置完后一定要按相机上的删除键确认退出，否则相机不能存储你设置的数值，遗憾的事，关闭相机电源或相机休眠后，数值恢复为默认值0

焦点处合焦自动拍摄的是trap focus 陷阱对焦
峰值对焦是在LV的时候 在液晶屏中显示出景深内物体的轮廓

ML固件对正常拍摄者用处不大，但是对于特殊拍摄的，比如拿单反拍视频又不想花钱买副厂对焦附件的，或者各种小功能，曝光辅助，对焦辅助

ML固件无法矫正原本的相机的缺陷，例如跑焦等。

可以拍，但是不能通过机身来播放

Update: a little facelift in menus

This is work in progress. If you have more ideas for improving menu
structure, I'm happy to listen. These changes will also allow simplifying
the user guide a bit.

Fixes:
- powersave bug (display was turning back on).
- horizontal bar in focus peaking while recording.
- 50D: focus peaking position should be OK (not tested). 50d也能用focus peaking……
- slowed down focus peaking a bit (was causing slowdown for other graphical
elements).

- maybe also the double bar on HDMI (I didn't have this issue, but I've
added some extra redraws).

Other changes:
- Zebra levels are now set as percentage.
- QScale is back (please don't report issues about recording stopping in
this mode, otherwise I'll remove it).

Warning: there were major code changes in menu backend. There might be
problems.

Questions:

Because you can shoot raw, so I don't see any benefit in using 160 ISO.

This could only work in movie mode, where you know the exposure settings
used for the display. In photo mode, camera uses some other settings (not
the same as the ones being displayed).

FYI, noise is not caused by high ISO. That's one of the biggest myths in
digital photography. High ISO reduces noise, but blows highlights.

That's a technical limitation, due to the way Canon reports and rounds
aperture values. There are different raw values for which the same "market
value" is displayed by Canon GUI. With ML, I use the formula from here:

I could try to limit aperture choices to 1/2 and 1/3 EV steps, and use
Canon approximations, but I don't know exactly which are those values. With
exposure override off, ML tries all the intermediate values until one is
accepted. These values are different in 1/2 and 1/3 EV modes. With exposure
override on, no checks are being made, so the camera accepts all the
values. Of course, what happens physically depends on the lens limits.

A little surprise in yesterday's autoexec:

** It unlocks 1/25s shutter speed in movie mode on all cameras! (in 24p and

I've tested it by looking at motion blur, and it's practically 360 degrees.
This will improve low-light performance a bit (not much, only by 1/3 stops).

It also seems to unlock 1/8000 in 550D, ISO 12800 in movie mode on 60D and
maybe a few others.

To use this, you need to enable Exposure Override (this time it's in Movie
menu, at the bottom). It works by enabling a special debug mode in
LiveView, where the camera ignores ISO, shutter and aperture changed from
Canon buttons (scrollwheel etc) and also some of their limits. The values
displayed by Canon graphics will be ignored completely (but ML displays the
ones which are being used).

Today's update only brings a few minor changes (like moving the exposure
override in Movie menu, marking this mode with a red rectangle in the
bottom bar, and fixing some flicker on the bottom bar on HDMI).

It also enables 640x480 in 50D. It's a bit hidden, because it's something
you shouldn't use... unless you still have a 486 computer

Let's wait for battery tests from the users... hopefully the 60D autoexec
for running the tests was not downloaded only by Cristian

In my quick tests, the 60D draws about 5% more power with ML (with zebras
and peaking active), compared to standard Canon firmware. My battery lasts
for around 3 hours (according to ML indicator) in LiveView, with zebras,
peaking and maximum LCD brightness.

Another small update:

- When you disable sound recording from Canon menu, ML audio controls will
reflect this
- 600D: fixed focus peaking and magic zoom (for details, see
http://groups_google_com/group/ml-devel/browse_thread/thread/3fbec5bb...)
- 600D: bulb ramping calibration should be faster, like in other cameras
(not tested, I've just noticed that 60D in Tv mode seems to behave in a
similar way to 600D in P mode, regarding liveview display gain, so I've
adjusted the routine to work correctly in that mode; the fix was disabling
ExpSim temporarily.)
- minor redraw tweaks (for example, cropmarks are no longer refreshed while
magic zoom is active, which should reduce random pauses)

My bad, I've only tested magic zoom on 60D, which didn't have the problem.
Only 550D was affected.

Should be OK now. Also, it should be a bit better in 720p mode (but still
flickers there).

All my batteries are empty (and charging), so I didn't run the usual
stability tests on this autoexec.

我运气还好，当时开不了机，我就有点怀疑是电池没有电了，因为出差在外，今天回到家，首先充电，充满后，再开机，哈哈，正常了。
这个消息应该让想刷机的朋友更多一些信心。

我的是60D, 为什么升级时只有SD卡的LED灯间隔闪亮, 但LCD一直没有显示, 没有提示升级完成, 强制拆出电池再装上开机, 也还是官方的版本? 我的是1.1.0 ,是什么原因无法升级?

楼主我根据这个刷机了。。。。。

不知怎么搞的，现在除了全自动模式，其他模式不能自动对焦了，不知道什么地方没有弄对。
