About me
I started with photgraphy at age eleven, after being given my first camera (Agfa Click). By age twelve I was developing my own film and within a year started mixing my own formula developer. In my 20's I worked for two London Stock Libraries (both long defunct) shooting travel images for advertising, travel brochures and TV backdrops. After several thousand publications I lost all interest in photography, since my hobby had turned into a job.
Several decades later I returned to my once love, after discovering the advances that digital equipment had made, which made the darkroom obselete. Now I shoot purely for my own pleasure, without any of the commercial pressures and once again I enjoy the realisation of images which crowd my wakeing hours.

About me
I am psychotherapist, manager and amateur photographer with short term experiences but a lot of enthusiasm.
I've started with photography 2006, more seriously from 2008. Photography is my favorite hobby. In september 2010 I started sending my photos on international exhibitions. Till now I have over 750 acceptancies and 60 awards (see my homepage).
At first I shot mostly landscape and travel photography, now I'm more and more oriented to mood, street and conceptual photography. I prefer black&white, for colour photo I need a good reason.

About me
After years of shooting, I found a term that comes pretty close to what I think of myself as. I am a Portraitiste Par Excellence. The portrait is what I do. In my earlier days of snapping, I did the usual mix - some landscape, some street shooting, an occasional wedding, some typical family snaps. Nowadays I rarely put the camera to my eye for something other than to take a portrait of a beautiful woman. You could say that now I am focused. And, since this is not my primary source of income, I get picky - that is, when I say beautiful, I mean it. I want to capture beauty. Not the "inner kind" but the ultimate outside - shallow as it may be, but breathtaking all the same.
Photo equipment：If I wanted to list all of the gear, it would not fit into this small space

Street santa
I found this guy in a back alley siting on the sidewalk with another friend of his. The were a bit drunk but very friendly and asked me if I could take some photos of them. He asked me several times if I had a microphone because he really wanted to give an interview. After we talked a little about politics and world economy) I gave them some change and left them arguing how should they split the money. They were homeless but happy!

柴可夫斯基钢琴:六月船歌
柴可夫斯基的钢琴套曲《四季》里有一首船歌。1876年，柴可夫斯基应彼得堡《小说家》月刊发行人贝纳德的约请，每个月为《小说家》的音乐附刊写一首钢琴曲。贝纳德按照十二个月令的时序，选定了十二首诗，提供给柴可夫斯基，作为十二个曲子的标题。其中六月用了普列谢耶夫的一首诗："走向河岸——那里的波涛将喷溅到你的脚跟，神秘的忧郁的星星会照耀着我们..."
柴可夫斯基根据这首诗，写成了一首船歌。全曲分三段，第一段和第三段是同一个主题，旋律深情婉转，略带忧伤，象一首浪漫曲。虽然没有用6/8拍子，但4/4拍子从强拍到弱拍一摇一摆的节奏。同样体现了轻舟荡漾的形象。中段速度转快，节奏也活跃起来，并从小调转入了大调，从四拍子过渡到三拍子，写出了“山鸣谷应，风起水涌”的形象；歌声桨声，溶成一片，还可以听到浪花飞溅的音响。第三段的旋律，在每个乐节的收尾，加进了陪衬的声部，原来的“独唱”，变成了“二重唱”；歌声此起彼落，表现得更为气韵生动。最后，小船渐渐离去，波浪轻微的拍击声消失在远方。

著名的“水上之城”威尼斯有一种平底狭长的小船，叫做“贡多拉”。船歌就是起源于贡多拉船工所唱的歌，广泛流行于意大利。十九世纪成为一种人们所喜爱的浪漫抒情曲体裁。船歌的曲调淳朴流利，优游自在，通常为6/8拍子，强拍和弱拍有规则地交替和起伏，描写船的摇曳晃动。
